Tocal Field Days are held every year at Tocal Agricultural Centre, Paterson NSW. The Field Days are a great opportunity for commercial farmers, hobbyists and enthusiasts seeking the latest in knowledge and innovations relating to everything and anything on farming or the land. Tens of thousands of people attend the field days each year and Narrabri Fish Farm exhibits and sells their fish fingerlings and yabbies there each year.
Narrabri Fish Farm is the largest hatchery based aquaculture farm in NSW breeding Golden Perch, Murray Cod, Eel-Tailed Catfish, Silver Perch and Yabbies. It is located just 10km out of Narrabri off the Newell Highway and a must see for all ages. They provide guided tours, fish feeding, yabbying and fishing. The farm is 250 acres and contains 100 dams and a 4 metre sculpture of a Murray Cod made out of recycled materials.
