Membership is for the calendar year – January to December. New membership for 2012 is only $55.00. (If you want to join after June, just send us an email and we can sign you up for a $28 six month membership)

Membership is available to all, students, teachers, farmers, non farmers and those just thinking about getting into aquaculture all are welcome. Many members are also from other states because they want to know what’s happening in NSW and the industry.

Reasons to join:

• Access to the NSWAA DATA BASE for all the information and scientific papers. (All the latest research is on the data base).
• Newsletters that let you know whats happening (Keep your finger on the pulse of the industry). Add your information and thoughts to the newsletter, etc.
• Free members advertising on the website (up to 14,000 hits per month).
• Free advertising in the newsletters.
• Representation and your say with all government departments and decisions.
• Discounts for members with Sydney Fish Markets on their commissions.
• Contact with other members, talk to those that are doing it and find out how. (Commercial farmers are busy people but will make time for other members of the Association – many will only talk to you if you are a  member).
• From time to time we all get together and purchase pumps, nets or tanks together and get a bulk order discount so we all get cheap products.
• Only NSWAA members get certain considerations, for example the CSIRO SUPERYABBY STOCK was only available the NSWAA members.
• The members of the Association are the ones that are working together to promote and support the industry, if your not a member your not working with the industry and will not have all the latest information and be kept informed and have an input into your industry.(All departments and researchers advise us and we advise you).
