Silver Perch fingerlings ready for growout

The Silver Perch breeding season has commenced and by the new year most hatcheries will have large numbers of fingerlings available for sale. Silver Perch Bidyanus bidyanus are an Australian native species, endemic to the Murray-Darling river system. They are member of the grunter family and a very tough species that is ideal for aquaculture and integrated aquaculture such as aquaponics.

    At what point do you put them in a dam if you are rearing fingerlings in tanks ? How long until they reach maturity ? Can you tell me quantities of feed for 1000 litre @ 100 fish model please ?
